FAQ

Q: How do I open a file? A: Tap the folder icon in the toolbar (⌘O), drag a file from the Files app into the window, or long-press a file in Files and choose Share → notepadcode.

Q: Are changes saved back to the original file? A: Yes. Files opened from Files are edited in place; press ⌘S to save to the original location.

Q: A file shows garbled characters. What can I do? A: Choose Encoding → Reinterpret As and pick the right encoding, such as GB18030, Big5 or Shift-JIS. You can also change the default ANSI code page in Settings.

Q: Will I lose unsaved changes? A: No. Your session is saved automatically, and all tabs and unsaved changes are restored the next time you open the app.

Q: How do I switch between English and Chinese? A: The app follows your system language. To choose a language just for this app, go to Settings → Choose App Language in Settings.

Q: Where can I find the keyboard shortcuts? A: Open the ? menu → Keyboard Shortcuts.

常见问题

问：怎么打开文件？答：点工具栏的文件夹图标（⌘O），或从「文件」App 把文件拖进窗口，也可以在「文件」里长按文件选择「共享 → notepadcode」。

问：修改会直接写回原文件吗？答：会。从「文件」打开的文件是原地编辑，按 ⌘S 就保存到原位置。

问：中文文件显示乱码怎么办？答：在「编码 → 以此编码重新解读」里选择 GB18030 或 Big5。也可以在设置里把「ANSI 默认代码页」设为 GB18030。

问：未保存的内容会丢吗？答：不会。本 App 会自动保存会话，下次打开会恢复所有标签和未保存的修改。

问：怎么切换中文 / 英文界面？答：默认跟随系统语言。在「设置 → 在系统设置中选择 App 语言」里可以单独为本 App 选择。

问：有哪些快捷键？答：菜单「? → 快捷键一览」里有完整列表。
